Wrestling
Takedowns, control, and the base that carries into BJJ and MMA.
Wrestling is one of the oldest martial arts — a system that challenges the body, sharpens the mind, and fortifies the spirit. Our classes cover the spectrum: takedowns, pins, holds, and escapes, with an emphasis on leverage, position, and control.
Beginners learn the basics of grappling. Seasoned athletes refine the details they need to compete. Classes start with a warmup for flexibility, strength, and endurance, then drills that lock in the movements that make wrestling work.
That physical preparation is also about resilience — facing a hard problem on the mat, then again off it. The room builds camaraderie as people push each other in a supportive environment.
Wrestling is a strong foundation for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and MMA. Control and position transfer. The same skills have practical use in self-defense: keep someone down, stay aware, and use an effective takedown when it matters.
